A victim of incest for 15 years, Sandy shares her story and tells how, through forgiveness and God's healing power, you, too, can triumph over abuse, regain wholeness, and have victory in your life.
Father, Forgive My Father
"Why did you write the book?" people who have not walked with me in the experience have asked me; "Why would you put yourself through all of that all over again?" I tell them that first (and most important) was a promise that I had to fulfill; I will share much more on that later. However, my other motivation was actually four fold: 1) to inform the general public of an increasingly serious social problem that is of epidemic proportion; 2) to help the victims of incest and sexual child abuse to better cope with and handle their problems through Christian principles and methods, at the same time assuring them that they are not alone in their struggles, 3) to bring the offenders of child abuse to a realization of what they are doing, why they are doing it, and ultimately help them to seek help and to realize there is a loving God who forgives this transgression, and finally, 4) to lead the victim through the steps to total healing through forgiveness.
